‘Ripped’ Just Published

Welcome to my website. I’m D. B. Sertaine and I’m an author.

I’ve just published Ripped: A Gentle Fable of Homecoming in Amazon Kindle. It’s a novel about a young hippie who drops acid in 1969, goes to bed that night and wakes up ‘the next morning’ in 2015 an old man. The tale is about his search for his girlfriend, his dear old dog, his past, and for his and his generation’s innocence.

That word ‘ripped’ does a lot of work in the book. Not to worry. No six-pack abs, not visible anyway. No eviscerations. More like ripped as in stoned, ripped as in ripped out of the usual time and place. It’s our boy’s nickname and evokes another Rip. Not Pip but Rip. Except now Ripped. Ripping good fun.

Drop in, stay awhile. Think about the last time you awakened out of the habitual wondering who you are, where your time went and what you should do now with the time you have left.
